Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 May 2026
Overview
Attune (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you use the Attune mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Mood data. Before each practice session, you provide a one-tap mood rating. This data is stored on your account and used to compute personal patterns.
- Practice history. We record which practices you complete and when, so we can surface insights about what tends to help you.
- Device push token. If you opt in to push notifications, we store a device token to deliver reminders. You can withdraw this permission through your device settings at any time.
- Mobile app analytics. In the Attune mobile app, we collect anonymized product usage events (such as which screens you visit and which features you use) through PostHog to understand how the app is used and where it can be improved. This data does not include mood ratings, practice text, or other health-adjacent content.
- Public website analytics. On our marketing website (findattune.com), we do not use PostHog. If you choose to accept optional analytics in the cookie banner, our hosting provider collects aggregated usage and performance information about the site. That data is not linked to your app account and does not include mood or practice data. If you decline, those optional analytics are not loaded on that visit (you can change your choice by clearing site data for findattune.com in your browser).
- Subscription status. We track whether you have an active subscription and its tier (monthly or annual) in order to unlock paid features.
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password (or a third-party OAuth token, depending on how you sign in).
How we use your information
- To deliver the daily loop. Your mood check-ins and practice history are used to select and surface relevant practices for you each day.
- To compute pattern insights. We analyze your mood and practice data to show you which practices are associated with better mood outcomes for you personally.
- To manage your subscription. We use subscription status data to control access to paid features and to process renewals through the applicable app store.
- To improve the product. Anonymized analytics data helps us understand usage patterns, identify problems, and prioritize improvements.
- To communicate with you. We may send transactional emails (such as account confirmation or support responses) to the email address on your account. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your mood data or practice history for advertising purposes.
